Early Voting Begins March 17
Evanston’s Early Voting site will be in the Civic Center basement, 2100 Ridge Road, (as in prior elections) during the following hours. A government-issued photo ID is not required but is helpful if there is a question about your voter’s registration, address or signature.
- Mon, March 17– Sat, March 22: 9 am–5 pm
- Sun, March 23: 10 am–4 pm
- Mon, March 24– Fri, March 28: 9 am–7 pm
- Sat, March 29: 9 am–5 pm
- Sun, March 30: 10 am–4 pm
- Mon, March 31: 9 am–7 pm
Mail In Voting
Any registered voter may apply for a mail ballot. It’s no longer necessary to provide a reason.
To obtain an application to vote by mail, registered suburban Cook County voters can:
- Apply online:(https://mailvoting.cookcountyclerkil.gov/)
- Download and print the mail ballot application for the April 1st election:
(https://www.cookcountyclerkil.gov/agency/vote-mail). - Email the Cook County Clerk at mail.voting@cookcountyil.gov or call 312-603-0946 if you don’t receive an official ballot, or with any questions.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, April 1. Mailed ballots are processed and counted at the Cook County Clerk’s central office.
Please note: The certification form (on the back of the return mail-in ballot envelope) must be signed, or your ballot will not be counted.
Voters can also drop-off their mail-in ballots at Drop Boxes. Drop Boxes will be available at:
